A method of testing very low-efficiency air filters.

From HHI:
Since this test only measures large and heavy particles by weight, it offers little indication of how well a filter will do at capturing smaller particles most likely to impact health. Thus, filters boasting high percentages in weight-arrestance aren't really saying much. For example, a standard 1" thick furnace filter doesn’t do a very good job of capturing most common pollutants, but when tested for weight arrestance, it will be about 80% efficient.
