The Moen Water Saving Showerhead reduces the amount of water used to 1.7 gallons per minute versus the industry-standard of 2.5 gallons per minute. It reduces water consumption, energy cost, and hot water use. Unlike other low-flow showerheads that only restrict water, Moen uses an optimized spray-pattern that increases the velocity and coverage of the water stream so it feels like a full-flow showerhead but limits water consumption.
