The Filtrete Allergen Reduction Filter (4-inch) is designed for whole house air cleaners that accommodate 4-inch thick filters. It fits filter housing units accommodating 20 x 25 x 4 size filters, and has a 1550 microparticle rating (approximately equivalent to MERV 11) to attract and capture particles like pollen, mold spores, and dust mite debris.
Filtrete filters are electrostatically charged to attract and capture both large and small particles from the air that passes through the filter. Electrostatically charged filters are most effective when the filter is new and clean.
